To request a detailed and precise estimate it is naturally useful to have a drawing of the room where the Gieffe kitchen will be installed.
However, it may not be so easy to measure the walls and spaces.
What should you do, for example, if the corners of the room are not all perfectly straight?
Let's take the example that the wall in which you want to install a linear kitchen starts or ends with an angle that is not 90°.
Here are some useful indications to take all the right measurements and communicate them to our technical department: obviously in these cases the most important thing is to measure the degree of the wall angle.
This measurement is important because if the angle is bigger than 90° it is necessary to increase the worktop in the front-side; the same thing must be done for the base units, putting a filler piece.
If the angle is less than 90° it is necessary to shorten the composition, both for the worktop and the base units.
Even if there is a pillar in the corner, it is necessary to have a drawing with precise measurements.
To determine the exact angle, proceed as follows: starting from the angle, measure one metre per side and draw the diagonal.
Here are some information that allow you to convert this measurement into the degree of angle:
At an angle of 90° the diagonal is 141.4 cm. At an angle of 80° the diagonal is 128.5 cm. At an angle of 100° the diagonal is 153.2 cm.
