Chemicals such as bleach, acids, etc. are not recommended. which could cause discoloration; however, never leave any liquid deposited on the surface for a long time (including coffee, tea and drinks containing acids). It is also advisable not to place hot pans or flat irons or any other source of heat, in order to avoid burns and cracks in the laminate. The laminate pine has a scratch resistance as per UNI EN 438/2 tests; in addition, knives or kitchen utensils can not be used directly on the worktop.
